American Heart Association Instructor Certification
One of the more rewarding aspects of our job is training others on how to save lives through CPR. Brian has been a certified American Heart Association Instructor for many years, teaching hundreds of people how to perform CPR.
One of the requirements of this certification is maitaining a certain level of hours spent teaching CPR and First Aid.
While most of our projects are within a corporate or industrial setting, we are often called in to train Girl Scout Leaders and even their troops. We have found teaching young women the benefits of CPR training to be incredibly powerful. Watching them become more confident in their abilities is incredible to witness.
On the leadership side, Girl Scouts of America has strict standards and protocols in place to keep their leaders and members safe. As such, Safety Distribution Services is happy to help troop leaders meet the GSUSA or GSSWT requirements.
This is what one Troop Leader had to say, “I had the opportunity to attend a CPR training with Mr. Sebastian along with a handful of other Girl Scout troop leaders. Brian was an efficient and effective teacher and was very involved with making sure we all had the correct technique. He was very thorough and certainly stressed the importance of effective CPR.”
